The guide to working with wood (also referred to as
‘The Background’) is a series of information sheets outlining woodworking
skills, tools and craft techniques that you will find useful when tackling any
of our furniture making projects.
The Background covers topics such as wood
selection, cutting lists, the workbench, gluing, clamping and filling, joints,
finishing and a basic tool list.
