A new series of Spring/Summer evening classes is set to commence at Lethenty Mill Furniture, with just a few places remaining for aspiring furniture makers.

The classes, which run three times a week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, are suitable for all levels from beginners through to experienced woodworkers. The focus is on making traditional pieces of furniture in wood, often using traditional methods and hand tools.

"Our evening classes started seven years ago, with just one class per week," says Allan Fyfe, proprietor, Lethenty Mill Furniture. "Over time, the demand has been such that we added a second, then a third weekly class. We restrict our class sizes to a maximum of eight participants per evening, in order that everyone gets sufficient access to equipment, tools and - of course - the instructor!"

The evening classes run from 7.00-8.30pm, in the workshops on site at Lethenty Mill Furniture. Each block lasts for ten weeks, with the next set of classes commencing on 26/27/28 April respectively. To find out more, or to book a place, contact Allan Fyfe on info@lethenty-mill.com, telephone (01467) 622489.

Lethenty Mill Furniture has supplied the North East and beyond with traditional, quality furniture for over 30 years. In addition to its evening classes, the company has also developed a range of home learning projects, which can be accessed via its website at www.lethenty-mill.com.
